Bob’s extensive knowledge and his humour really did bring the city to life. We would recommend doing this walking tour early in your visit to better appreciate the city’s history, architecture and the hear the stories about three prominent characters that shaped it during the Georgian era. Fascinating and enlightening. We had a lovely afternoon. Thank you Bob and we did go and have a Sally Lunn bun and tea afterwards - on your recommendation.

  I was lucky enough to meet Bob by accident. My advice to all my friends and family will be to search for him. Never will I forget walking around Bath... read more with him telling me centuries worth of history at every turn. I can’t think of a better tour that I’ve ever taken anywhere. So pleasant and knowledgeable - wonderful to chat with between sites... I don’t think I could ask a question he didn’t or couldn’t answer. If my schedule permits, I will do another tour tomorrow just for the opportunity to learn more from him. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. Nor can I thank fate for putting my with Bob for one of the absolute highlights of my travels. Thank you so much, Bob. I’m already looking forward to next time!
